| Professional Pathology Services
has an outstanding reputation of excellence in Gynecologic Pathology—in
both professional and academic arenas. Our GYN pathologists provide
consultative services to a several area hospitals. Additionally,
several of our group members have clinical teaching appointments
to the University of South Carolina School of Medicine Department
of OB-GYN, which awarded its 2003 clinical faculty teaching award
to a member of our practice. And, the Gynecological Oncology Group
pathology review committee has benefited from the experience of
our pathologists.
Our GYN pathologists are driven by their dedication to accuracy
and timely results, made possible by the using the latest techniques
and technology. Correlation of surgical pathology (biopsies of
the cervix, vagina, and vulva) and cytological findings is routine.
