can expertly evaluate the full range of ocular specimens from eyelid
biopsies to enucleations or orbital exenterations. Our services
include immunohistochemistry or flow cytometry when indicated for
the evaluation of neoplasms or lymphoproliferative disorders, as
well as microbiologic cultures or molecular antigen detection when
needed for infectious processes.
Our pathologists are readily available to consult with dermatopathologists
for skin or skin appendage lesions, and with hematopathologists
for lymphoid lesions. PPS, PC welcomes consultation with the clinicians
to determine the work-up needed to provide the optimum patient
diagnostic service.
